Soft Ride Boots provide unparalleled relief/comfort for your horse during periods of:

Sold in pairs, complete with Standard Turquoise Insoles (soft yet durable).

Important Sizing Notes: the Smallest size = 10, and the Largest size = 2.

Soft-Ride recommends these guidelines when measuring your horse & using Soft-Ride boots. Correctly measuring the hoof will ensure a comfortable fit for your horse & help prevent premature wear of the boot. Watch the video & carefully follow the steps below to ensure accurate measurements:

1. Measure your horse’s hooves shortly after they have been trimmed. This will help ensure that the boot is not too big.
2. Measure each hoof to check for discrepancies in hoof size. You may find it necessary to order a different size boot for each foot if a correction trim is not possible. If that is the case, we recommend ordering directly from Soft-Ride.
3. Once you have your measurements, reference the Soft-Ride size chart to find the boot size required.
4. When you receive your Soft-Ride boots, remove the Gel Orthotic & hold it up to the bottom of the hoof. Use plastic wrap around the hoof up to the pastern during initial fitting to keep the product clean until a decision is made.

• The Gel Orthotic should overlap the hoof by up to a quarter inch on all sides to allow for some growth before the hoof is trimmed again.
• If the foot overlaps the Gel Orthotic in length or width, then the boot is too small. Alternatively, if the pad engulfs the foot, it's too large.

Prolonging the life of your boots:

• Keep your horse trimmed frequently to keep close to the initial dimensions. This will help ensure continued proper fitment & help prevent damage to the boot.
• Fit is critical, too small & the fabric will tear, too big & the fabric will fold & get stepped on.
• Clean the boot out daily. Pull the orthotic out of the boot & remove all debris. If debris builds up, it will take up space & affects the fit & life of the boot, as well as the comfort of your horse.
• If the fabric is slouching, the boot needs to be pulled tighter daily (up the back) & Velcro tighter. Overlapping the Velcro may help with small feet to get it snug enough.
