TAP (3/8"-16) - Drill /Driver Chuck Assembly - Easy Speed Tapping

3/8" - 16 TPI (standard tap for horseshoe corks in America) mounted in a Chuck (for Taps) and a standard impact driver end.

This allows any impact driver to tap the threads in horseshoes.

The beauty is that making the threads with an impact driver is much easier than with a drill or a manual tap.

Always use cutting oil.

You'll first need to drill a 5/16" hole (use oil!) for tapping 3/8" threads for you corks / studs.

This assembly allows you to hold the horseshoe with one hand against an anvil or table top while tapping the threads using an impact driver.
