250 lb SCOTT 'BIG BOY' Anvil (USA)

SCOTT ANVILS are professional quality steel anvils that are more compact than most anvils this weight.  By having more weight centered near the striking axis, the anvils have the feel of even heavier anvils!

The Big Boy has heavy tooling blocks on both sides of its base as an option when 'packing' lengths of steel at a lower and more comfortable height than the typical option of striking well above the anvil's table.  A solid, useful option.

Do you know the Anvil you want?  If so, get yours now, if it's available.

Though they have a unique stockier look than traditional anvil classic patterns, these 250 lb SCOTT shop anvils are popular because they hit above their weight class, making your job easier.

Their performance makes these Scott anvils popular with professional Farriers and Blacksmiths.

** $20 Gift Card when bought with E-Transfer, Cash, or Debit.

**  Select 'In Store Pick Up' at check-out because 200 lbs+ anvils are too heavy to send by courier.  We have excellent trucking partners and can get quotes to ship by LTL whenever delivery is needed.  Shipping is usually surprisingly affordable.  You can select in-store pickup at checkout, and we'll contact you with the best freight options.

If you are not pleasantly surprised by the costs and options, don't worry; you'll always be free to cancel your order.

VIDEO TIP:  How to Dress the Edges of your new anvil -  We recommend 'dressing' the anvil edges to a slight radius to help prevent dings and chips from off strikes.  (Video Coming Soon).
