Typically, the cold face of paper is ~50% of the Hot Face between 1000°F and 2000°F.
24" wide Refractory felt paper is either 1/8" or 1/4" thick and sold by the square foot (from 2' wide rolls) inch, and by full boxes.
A one linear foot length = 2 square feet (because the rolls are 24" wide).
