Note - If you have an oven built with these or similar bricks, and you've started to see them crumble or crack because you've been overheating them, if you are not ready to replace and rebuild with our high-quality 3000°F super duty fire-bricks, then you can consider helping them along. Deep Cracks can be filled with a quality refractory mortar (like DC Clayburn 3000) and then white washing the face with two thin coats of the infamous 'Alien Skin 90' that bonds to and strengthens most everything. Add a micro thin coating of ITC-100 if you want to help prevent future breakdown, as it reflects the heat back into the firebox, helping preserve your bricks.
