Greencast 94 GR+ Castable 3400°F Flux Resistant Dense Castable

Green Cast 94 GR Plus Castable. Our highest Alumina Refractory.  Impervious to Flux, Glass, Sulfer, Ammonia, Hydrogen and High Heat.  Great Strength.  Outstanding abrasion and heavy impact resistance.

Keep the product dry prior to use.  Mixing time is 5 minutes and typically uses only ~10% water by weight (100 ml water per Kg of GreenCast 94+). 

The GR indicates the product can be hand cast or 'gunned' into place, so it sets more quickly than conventional castables. 

Note - Replacement cost of GreenCast has risen dramatically, and while our current supply lasts, we can offer extra special pricing on full bags/pails.

Features:

• High Heat - up to 3400°F
• Our most FLUX Resistant Refractory.  When cast on a vibration table, the small bubbles are removed, and the surface becomes like Teflon to flux (which burns into or through many other castables)
  
• An excellent, very fine granular product. Casts with excellent detail.

It is impervious to most chemicals and is commonly used as the protective fireside barrier wall, with lighter insulating backup layers used behind it (Like GreenLite 45 OnLine +, or Kast-o-lite Li 30+, for Ceramic Fibre, etc)

Effective for capping floors, or ribbon burners when an extreme-duty castable is required.  It is a tremendous castable for specific purposes and is among our most expensive.
