Made of 4140 alloy steel, and hardened on the striking surfaces of the hammer. User friendly, the body of the hammer is slightly softer, which absorbs some of the vibration caused when the hammer strikes another object.

Perfectly balanced. By balanced, we mean, they are the same weight on the pein side as on the flat side. This is what keeps the hammer from wanting to twist in your hand.The Flatland Forge Clipping Hammer features a hemispherical shape for striking punches and precise control when drawing clips.
