The Slim version of the Mustad City Head Nail features a strong, extra-long, and thin shank. This assists in the accurate, smooth driving of the nails higher into the hoof wall. The rationale behind nailing extra high is to minimize hoof wall damage in case the horse steps out of its shoe.
A great all-purpose nail used most commonly on saddle horses, working horses, and ponies. Designed for American-made or U-creased shoes. To aid in the right placement of the nail, the Mustad 'M' is always placed on the same side.
