The Michel Vaillant JMD Asymetrix - Hind is a specialized aluminum medical horseshoe designed for therapeutic applications. Created by Professor Jean-Marie Denoix, this shoe features an innovative asymmetrical design with a wide right branch and an onion heel, providing enhanced support and flotation on soft footing. The narrow beveled branch facilitates break-over and reduces strain on the injured side.
Constructed from 10mm thick, high-tech, non-tempered aluminum alloy, this shoe is suitable for hot shoeing up to 450°C. It includes customizable clips that can be ground off as needed. The Asymetrix shoe is ideal for addressing distal limb deviations such as valgus or varus, subchondral compression bone lesions, and desmopathy of collateral ligaments.
Farriers and horse owners can rely on this shoe to re-balance the foot and joints, reducing tension on collateral ligaments. For optimal results, pair with a shoe offering similar traction dynamics on the healthy foot, like the Delta Challenger TS7.
