Hanton SX8 Steel Horseshoes - Kit

Demand for shoes punched for City Head nails brought forth the Kerckhaert SX Series. The SX8 is a 5/16" thick shoe with graduated widths. A popular shoes for trail, jumping, dressage and ranch work. This shoe is symmetrical.

The Hanton patented innovation means a better way of gluing on shoes. The steel tabs are welded on and ready for immediate application. The steel shoes may be shaped and set hot or cold. These shoes offer great value because they may be reset, often two or three times!

The Features and Benefits of Hantons:

• Safest & healthiest way to shoe. No nails required. Hantons assist in maintaining hoof integrity/strength. Benefiting the long-term health of horses' hooves."
• A better way to glue on shoes. Glue is injected into patented plastic "blisters" over specially designed metal tabs attached to each horseshoe. The adhesive dries and sets with the hoof on the ground and weight-bearing (not held up in the air). Results in a natural, correct fit, and no glue "locking in" the heels!
• Innovative & patented design. Adhesive is only applied over tabs on the front half of the shoe. This prevents the heels from being "locked in" with glue, which allows the back of the horse's foot to flex and absorb concussion the way nature intended.
• Proven performance stands the test of time. Hanton Glue-On Horseshoes stay secure and stand up to the demands of performance as long as (if not longer than) traditional shoes.
• Easy to apply! Application time is comparable to nail-on shoes, and faster than many other glue-on products - making life easier for both horses and farriers!
• Options for Farriers: Weld bar shoes in for therapeutic use, add traction devices (studs or borium), use with pads (full pads, rim pads, snow pads), or pour-in sole support. Nails can even be added where needed.
