*** Note:  Higher temperature ceramic fiber boards are also available from 2300 to 2600 and 3000 by special order.

This fiber board is not very abrasion resistant and must be used either as backing insulation or in a semi-protected environment to avoid damage.

Note, in the summer of 2025, we will be stocking abrasion-resistant panels rated up to 3000 °F suitable for new or repair applications from fireplaces to forges.  Contact us to be put on the contact list of our Fireside Rigid Panels.
