FootPro Hoof Cast Tape

FootPro Hoof Casting Tape by FPD is an extra wear-resistant, resin-impregnated fibreglass mess-casting material that offers a user-friendly option for treating various hoof problems. It is wrapped dry with the help of adhesive, holding the first layer in place, then wetted to activate the resin and cure it.

Note:  The Casting tape by FootPro is available in 2 & 3" wide rolls.  Need 4"wide rolls?  We have 4" wide FibreglassCasting Tape Rolls by Equicast available too.

Features:

• Resin-impregnated fiberglass mesh fabric conforms to the hoof, provides support, wear protection, and stabilizes the whole hoof. 
• The dry application technique provides much greater working time and control by allowing the user the choice of when to activate and cure the resin.
• Two sizes available

1.  2" x 4 yards for horses up to 1100 lbs.
2.  3" x 4 yards for horses 1100 to 1300 lbs.

Dry wrap technique:wrap the hoof dry with the help of an adhesive such as Equimix Ultrafast, Vettec Superfast, or Equilox to adhere the first layer to the hoof wall. Finish your wrap and then wet the wrap with water to activate the resin and cure it.
