Anatomy Hybrid Half Normal/Half Foundered Hoof/ Horse Leg Specimen

The Hybrid Founder Hoof Model:   a normal hoof hinged to a severely laminitic hoof.   (from two different horses). 

(Note that the photos displayed in these pics will be very similar but not the same specimen displayed).

This is a freeze-dried permanently prepared actual skeletal & tissue model ideal for educational purposes as seen in Farrier & Veterinary Schools.    

The coffin bone (p3) on the left has rotated, almost perforating the horse's sole, compared with a normal foot on the right.
